Description
The Moss of the Isles Gua Sha is a Jade massage tool inspired by centuries-old self-care practises; used to stimulate circulation, improve lymphatic drainage and reduce any puffiness.
Apply 4 to 6 drops of Resilience Face Oil to cleansed skin on the face and neck, making sure there is enough glide to prevent excess friction.
- Hold your Moss of the Isles Gua Sha tool with the curved side to your face. Gently glide it up and out, starting with the neck, making sure you’re stroking down the neck, never upwards, to drain fluid.
- Next, move onto your jawline, chin and around the mouth, stroking the skin between three and five times per area. Always take short strokes in just one direction, not back and forth. If you want to reduce puffiness, work lightly, then more firmly to relax muscles.
- Press your Jade Gua Sha tool flat to the skin and delicately stroke under the eyes or over any redness, to soothe and de-puff.
- Finally, work your Gua Sha in small horizontal strokes over the brow bone to lift, or hold and press upwards between the brows to release tension.
- Rest and Relax
